ONLINE BOOKING

Cocoa Esthetiques requires a credit card to be placed on file as well as a 50% deposit to secure your appointment. Clients who do not have a credit card may make deposit payments via PayPal or Interac E-transfer. Please contact me if you are needing to make alternate arrangements for deposits.

CANCELLATION POLICY

The time you schedule is reserved exclusively for you. When appointments are missed, rescheduled, or canceled with insufficient notice, we’re unable to fill the vacancy, causing a substantial financial impact on the business.

Should you cancel or reschedule your appointment with Cocoa Esthetiques, we request a 24-hour notice. Cancellations with less than 24-hour notice will result in a forfeit of your deposit. No-Show appointments will be charged the full service fee. Failure to pay any incurred fees or outstanding balances will lead to automatic termination of your relationship as a client.

LATE ARRIVALS

We do not extend service times or issue refunds for late arrivals. However, arriving more than 15 minutes late for your service will result in its cancellation.

CHILDREN & GUEST POLICY

Cocoa Esthetiques provides guests with a calm, relaxing atmosphere. However, it is not a safe or suitable environment for children. Unattended children are not permitted in the room. In order to protect client privacy, guests are also not allowed in the treatment room without prior discussion with your skin therapist.

RETAIL REFUND/EXCHANGE POLICY

Cocoa Esthetiques is happy to provide store credit for all unopened, unused products if returned to the store within 7 days of product purchase.

Sorry, due to the nature of our products, we cannot provide refunds or exchanges for any opened or used products.

Costs of return shipping are the responsibility of the customer. Should your package arrive damaged or faulty, please contact us at info@cocoaesthetiques.ca. 

In the case of an allergic reaction, please email a picture of the reaction along with order details to info@cocoaesthetiques.ca.

We highly encourage booking a Consultation (available both Virtually and In Person) before purchasing products from the site. Consultations are the best way to ensure any products you purchase are selected to give you the best results for your unique skin. We unfortunately cannot offer refunds or exchanges for products you did not like or that were wrongfully ordered. 

SERVICE SALES ARE FINAL

To ensure the most favorable outcome, we perform thorough consultations that require your participation and honest feedback. All service sales and deposits are final.

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

Cocoa Esthetiques licensed professionals reserve the right to refuse services at their discretion and dismiss disruptive or abusive clients when necessary.

DUTY TO INFORM

Your full disclosure during all pre-service consultations is mandatory. Cocoa Esthetiques will not assume responsibility for any adverse reactions suffered when a guest has failed to inform us of contraindicating conditions.

SCOPE OF PRACTICE POLICY

In Alberta, provincial law prohibits salon and spa professionals from diagnosing or treating clients with contraindicated medical conditions. Should your professional determine that you are ineligible for service, we will happily refer you to an appropriate physician. When your situation has been resolved or you have a medical release clearing you for service, you are more than welcome to reschedule your appointment.
